Author Topic: Do you believe in reincarnation?  (Read 3021 times)

Really... Tell me the name of the most famous restaurant in Chubut's capital and I'll believe you.
That is a matter of bias and personal preference. My girlfriends favorite restaurant however is "I don't care". We eat their often.

Yes and that white light everyone talks about is the exit of your new mom's uterus. Basically, when a baby is about to be born, it asks the Matrix for any player-less clients and, when it finds one, it immidiately assigns the baby to the client.

When you die there's nothing, and you're not there to see it

When you die there's nothing, and you're not there to see it
Pretty much this.

Also, if you think about it hard enough, your mind starts to feel uncomfortable, possibly even to the point of where it physically hurts, as it cannot comprehend a reality where it does not exist.

I'm a nondenominational Christian. I believe that every human only lives on Earth once and when they die, they either go to heaven or hell depending on their beliefs and remain in their destination forever.

But if reincarnation were a thing and I couldn't be a human, I'd want to be a great white shark so I can mindlessly tear living things to pieces and eat the remains. I won't have to worry about predators and I could swim very fast.

pfft, you have predators anyways. Humans.

I wouldn't want to be anything in the ocean, because I don't like the idea of being accidentally caught in a fishing net.

It's a nice idea. I'll tell you guys if it happens.

No

I believe it just fades to black and stays that way. We are all just entertaining ourselves as a time between birth and death. Life is just an obstacle in the way of our bodies fermenting the ground and giving birth to new life. A continuos cycle until the life that has been created withers itself out or suffers the wrath of a solar phenomenon .

I'll be a normal shark and hang out in the middle of the ocean like smart fishies do.

Too bad I wouldn't have a human brain.

I wouldn't want to be anything in the ocean, because I don't like the idea of being accidentally caught in a fishing net.

But fish can't even formulate that idea.

Fish can't, but I can, hence I don't want to be a fish.

Bring us that sweet eschatological verification.
