Dragon's Dogma is an action role-playing video game made by Capcom for the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360. (No PC version bluh)
The game features an open world fantasy area for you to explore, and a simple yet interesting fighting system. It was released in North America on May 22, 2012, in Japan and Australia on May 24, 2012, and in Europe on May 25, 2012. The game was developed by staff members that worked on previous Capcom franchises such as Resident Evil, and Devil May Cry. Due to the success of the game, there is an online version planned for the PS3, PS4, and PC.
The game has an innovative "pawn" system. While the player's party is exploring the world, the three party members who accompany the main character are npcs, although you can issue commands to them. One of the party members belongs to the main character's world, while the other two party members are NPCs borrowed from other players by connecting online or are locally generated by the game. The party members are referred to as pawns. They talk, (a lot) seek the main character's help, and provide information about enemies. The player must work on strengthening the main character and the party members. The pawns then learn off how you play, and soon you have a small group of npcs that have the same capabilities that you do in combat.

Features
- Climbing, similar to in Shadow of the Colossus.
- Character Customization where weight, height, and more affect the characters stats.
- Customizing and equipping of pawns
- Open world with lots of quests and monster killing
- Doesn't hold your hand like games do nowadays; gives you the controls and a bit more, then your just flung into fighting a huge cyclops, hydra, and more in just the start of the game.
- Enemies all have an approach to killing them, whether its slicing their tails off or picking them up and tossing them into deep water.
- Your character is a bad-ass, gets their heart ripped out right at the start and just decides "forget my heart anyway lets kick monster ass"
- More!

Dragon’s Dogma Online will be F2P “no plans” for western release

no

That low-res title image. :P

Man this is easily one of my favorite games of all time, each encounter feels unique when you consider just how many ways you could go about killing your enemy, sure you could stab a bandit or you could punch him in the stomach, pick him up and throw his ass off a cliff. There's nothing more fun then climbing on a griffin while it's flying and stabbin the forgeter in the wing, or running about a giant collapsing colosseum.

I liked running on the rooftops in the city, double jumping is the shizzle.

Oh and the combo system is super smooth too.

Oh and picking up random pawns and throwing them into the endless abyss is fun too.

Love this game <33
