Oh yeah I was gonna say something when it was legalized
Outcry begins almost worldwide for the legalization of gay marriage. Western nations are mostly affected.

turkey's day of reckoning is approaching rapidly

are you telling me I can't keep a huge country afloat for years on end
I mean, sure, it hasn't worked in the past, but who the forget cares about history

it seems pretty stupid to have a docking yard in orbit when there's nothing to dock and no reason to go there anyways

start small. put a base on the moon or some stuff, send some probes to excavate the asteroid belt or the moon or mars or something

;)

why not

Terminal operations expansion has been completed at Beta Station and the asteroid belt (Ceres), enabling a larger flow of supplies and materials. Overall operations are being expanded using equipment fabricated from materials on site, with some unmanned and manned mining outposts being set up on the surface. The expanded facilities will support larger numbers of ships and larger ship classes. Newly trained personnel from the volunteer program are in transit to the expanded Beta Station, which now has better accommodations and amenities, besides increased capacity, thanks to the expansion operations.

Retooling of station Alpha in Earth's orbit is still underway, but the new large docking facilities are completely functional, though expansion of overall crew capacity and the installation of some amenities is underway. At this stage, the station can be used as a point for flight transfers between different craft.

It does.

A car, outside of Turkey's grand assembly parliament building, after being stared into by a curious onlooker, explodes after gaining the attention of four people. 18 are injured, 5 are killed. Could this be a message to the government of Turkey?

no, probably a faulty engine, in which case yes I'll have to make better cars

emergency teams are dispatched to the area, military action against CIA intensifies and fighter jets intercept and bomb any vehicles or equipment they may have outside of highly populated areas

CIA claims responsibility for the car bombing and the bombing of the hagia sofia

CIA runs much social media, and a spokesperson says "turkey, this will only get worse with time. you have many more lessons in store unless you cede the levant and the former state of iraq to us. otherwise, we will take it by force"

you cede the levant and the former state of iraq to us. otherwise, we will take it by force"

Another bombing happens subsequently at the Topkapı Palace in Istanbul in the midst of the immediate investigation of the previous bombing. 7 men dashed into the building wearing Self Delete vests and three of them explode as they enter. The remaining four of them look for the most expensive things to destroy. Turkish police are alerted of the situation and go over to investigate. Two officers try to move in when three of the bombers blow themselves up near ancient artifacts. The remaining bomber's vest fails to explode and he is apprehended.
2 killed, 9 injured.

Unrest mounts in Istanbul.
