The Leopard Two and other armored vehicles are being phased out with the entry of the Kalmar Union's new modular combat vehicle chassis which has ten base configurations for various combat roles, it will dramatically reduce military maintenance costs since parts will be easier to replace and compatible. The Swedish Combat Vehicle 90 will remain in service with the Union military and the Civil Defense Force will be given some of the Leopards and armored vehicles while the rest are put in storage.
