that was forgeted up why would [spoilers]peridot/the homeworld even want to DO that like what the hell is the point of creating those abominations, and why is the kindergarten like a graveyard? i kinda thought it was just for making amethysts[/spoilers]

oh stuff i just realized what they were trying to get at with garnet's dialogue and what was happening at the kindergarten

those abominations were the forgeted up prototypes, in reality the homeworld is trying to force old crystal gems, the people who defeated them, together to get the best of their abilities, and create horrifying, flawless gem warriors that could easily destroy earth. peridot, as she technically said, was just testing out to see if they could pull off such a thing. now that we know they can, the homeworld's invasion power has become terrifying. my theory for why they didnt just send 500 spaceships after earth is that this isn't the only rebellious planet, and what they were doing on earth was just a regular clean-up job. once they realized earth is still stronk as hell, homeworld either put a high priority on earth, or peridot took it into her hands to invade earth with more force.

I'm starting to think this might not be as lore-heavy a week as I thought it would be.

Like, the next episode is guaranteed to just be flashbacks. What can possibly go down in one, 11 minute episode on Friday? :(

Spoilers:

Basically, they went to the Kindergarden, Steven found Peridot, the gems tried to fight her, she flew away, Steven and Garnet went in the hole that Peridot came out of before Steven saw her, finds arms and legs stuck together and trying to attack them, turns into big monster, tries to seperate Garnet into Ruby and Sapphire, she started to split up, then defeated the monster after it turned into a gem crystal, Amythest and Pearl come down, find them, they put the other gem crystals into bubbles and get rid of them, then you see Steven doing laundry and Garnet talking about fusing or some crap. the end
