i think it's p obv peridot's just been doing her job this whole time, but her only problem is apparently that it's on earth. she just doesn't really respect the planet the same way the crystal gems do (to no surprise of anyone i guess since she's a homeworld gem)

if steven and the other crystal gems can get her to change then it's not out of the question that she would become at least begrudgingly an 'honorary member/slave'

WHO KNOWS !!! pROBABLY THE WRITERS!!

from a narrative point of view, they wouldn't give peridot prejudice unless they gave her at least a chance to get over it

I'm guessing that most of you have probably already thought of this, but I'm almost certain that Sardonyx is the weird forced gem-fusion that Peridot stole from the Kindergarten.

if you have your viewer base actively asking questions about the world and its lore or w/e, you already have them deeply invested in the work
