This show isn't like the others.
It has actual character progression, an interesting story, it sometimes explores darker themes, etc.
Iss gud.
It seems to be enjoyed by the same kind of person that enjoys Gravity Falls or Over The Garden Wall.
Sometimes it seems like those three shows all share the same community.
For example, the "The auther of the journals, my brother" joke in the SU subreddit.
