i did that my first run, and that one became an ncr one because i guess my guy felt bad for doing such a thing and thought that that regime was his resolution

I like to load saves and go around in power armor using the M2 Browning to just kill everyone. you can't stop a .50 Armor Piercing round. No one in the game is remotely powerful enough to stop me.

Is there any good loot in that irradiated NCR town/outpost south-ish of Cottonwood Cove? There are a stuff ton of Ghoul Troopers that I don't want to kill unless I know it's worth it.

Camplight? Not really, there's a single quest down, and its also neat to explore to learn how it became irradiated. The ghoul troopers don't put up much of a fight.
