If you see her in person, let her know she's a bitch.

None of that is relevant?

Well, these people are citing their religious beliefs, in that they claim to follow Biblical teachings in their discrimination. There is much more documentation of other forms of bad relationships, more than just gay ones. They've chosen to only obey one of many Biblical laws that look down on certain relationships.

They cherry picked what to obey in their business practices. I feel like this is more finding an excuse for homophobic business practices rather than a truly religious objection.

Today during class we were discussing something related to this, apparently IN used the argument "Its not bias, heteroloveuals can't marry the same love either. Not just homoloveuals."

well... by your example of helpful christians i should say not. there were none present at that time. nor did they exist.
jews who believe in jesus are christians
therefore everyone who crucified him was christian

Absolutely ridiculous, if they're being idiots like this then they damn well deserve whatever backlash they get. I sincerely hope that the gofundme is a fake.

"...outraged people grabbed the torches and began a campaign to destroy this small business in small town Indiana. All for having an opinion that is rooted in faith."
jeez

Welcome to religion, that's how it's always worked. If that weren't the case modern society would be entirely different. If you're going to try and make a point at them, please don't choose one of the stupidest ones possible.

angry cigarette alert

We all know it's unnatural for gay people to eat pizza.
that is not true.. everyone eats pizzer

Just saying, it's proof their objection is not truly religious. Similar to the days of segregation, they are biased in themselves, and cover it up with religion. Citing the First Amendment protecting your "belief" is a lot better than saying "I've got the right to be a richard to minorities."

Just saying, it's proof their objection is not truly religious.
Again, there is no such thing as "truly religious." Please stop spewing garbage.

Wait
So

This reporter girl asks if they'd cater a gay wedding
They say no and everyone is outraged
Then another reporter from the same show makes a gofundme to raise money

Does anyone else fine this suspicious? I mean, they had to have known their response would cause outrage, then they turn around and raise money for them?

Also, posting this again because the gofundme uses this stuff in the first sentence:
allowing the discrimination of service to groups people and labeling it as "religious freedom" is moronic and disgusting

the real problem is that they are getting pizza for a wedding

redneck wedding?
new reality show yes?

Again, there is no such thing as "truly religious." Please stop spewing garbage.
Worded better: deserving of protection under the First Amendment.

Maybe they had some unintended consequences and decided to sympathize with them?
