Author Topic: Do you believe in any kind of afterlife?  (Read 12017 times)

Personally, I think there isn't an afterlife. It's kinda like being asleep without any thoughts or feelings or senses. You're just dead and that's that.

It's still not very nice that he's killed millions of humans in forms of floods, plagues, and the well rounded smite.

Sure, I can see where you'd come to that. Thing is, none of that existed before the Fall. With the first sin, there also came disasters, crime, pain, death, sickness, etc. It may not seem fair that all life is suffering because of two people, but everyone on the planet sins at some point and is subject to the ways of the world.

isn't it kind of scary to think that after death there is only nothingness? i mean, you as a person simply cease to exist, the only part of you that remains is your body. it's like someone pushed an off button

i mean, it's pretty pessimistic, i'd like to think something happens after you die, but i'm not a religious person

It's not like you're there to think about how disappointing it is
You're there and then you're not.

I'm fond of the idea that i'll just be reborn as another person in a different life.

But thats unlikely

I'd like to think there was. However, I believe there is not.

I can't stand the idea of not being conscious. Permanent death is just terrifying.

Well after life I believe the body rots and decomposes. So I guess I do believe things happen after life.

SO WHY DID GOD STICK THE FRUIT THERE IN THE FIRST PLACE
PUT UP A WALL OR SOMETHING :l

If they had stayed in the garden, would humanity ever have come into existence? I like existing, and I also enjoy the internet, and potato chips. I don't really want to walk around naked in a field eating fruit.
