Author Topic: Do you believe in any kind of afterlife?  (Read 11885 times)

im christian but i believe heaven takes place in space and some stars are angels, which we came from (star dust)

whoa buddy

i don't understand

like, your idea of heaven is, well, silly

How many prophecies haven't come true tho?
I don't know of any that haven't come true; there are many others that have come true though such as regarding Alexander the Great and the first advent of Jesus. I don't expect anyone to take my word for it though, I just hope people will be open and research the other side of the argument.

they say heaven is in the skies, and it's been obviously proven it's not
so what if they mean space? they often say we come from stardust, so my idea is our soul goes into the stars we came from
but whatever
religion is argued way too often and if you don't agree drop it, 'buddy'

no, i honestly don't care either. don't have time to waste here thinking about there

What is this for

Some "failed prophecies" and "contradictions" are stated and simply not true or researched enough though. Many contradictions that atheists try to use in arguments are really simple grammar errors from translation, such as "a" being "an", or "but" being "or".

Ain't that just the thing? When region was first starting out, they said that gods were at the top of he mountain. Then people climbed the mountain, saw no gods, and decided that the gods must be in the sky. Well now we can reach the sky, so I guess te next logical step is to place these dieities someplace else we can't reach them. (Space) Anyhow, I don't see why his idea is anymore ridiculous then anything anyone else is saying about heaven. If your going to claim that there's a floating sky palace waiting for you once you die you should have a more open mind to the fantastical.

If there's no internet in the afterlife i'm gonna commit afterlife Self Delete lol

Life is too short to waste time thinking about something so insignificant at the moment. Human fear is of the unknown. So, if we know for sure that we will die, why be scared of it?

this just in: literally the rest of forever after u die is apparently insignificant

i still never die

It will happen anyways, and the rest of forever is more then enough time to come to terms with it.

I believe the ones who believe in Jesus as their Lord and savoir will enter the kingdom of God. Those who do not believe in him as your Lord and savoir will be damned to the depths of hell.
So that's like 6 billion people that are going to hell. Out of like 7 billion.

I wish this 'God' guy would be more tolerant of people with different beliefs :/

Actually, human fear is the fear of getting hurt or dying. The only reason we fear the unknown is because it could end up being harmful.
