the game is borderline exploitative and (not to mention) the act of playing the actual game is stuff on an objective, technical level

note: this is relative to people calling it a "masterpiece." taking it on it's own merits the gameplay is just bad and the acting is mediocre. the story is still mindless drivel though, but compared to the average TPS story it's gold.

I guess you were playing a different game than the one I was? Spec Ops: The Line is fantastic. I didn't see any "bad acting", and the gameplay was above-par for what is trying to pretend to be a normal shooter game.

well it depends - do you enjoy exploitative guilt-trip cutscenes interspersed by decent performances of nolan north, with a majority of your time being spend in boring, drab, uninspired, and uninteresting third-person gameplay?

Also, regarding this, no, I got around forty seconds in before deciding I was incredibly bored and had more to do with my time.
Maybe this guy didn't like the game because he sounds entirely devoid of life.
