Leave already, nobody here cares about whatever garbage some minor YouTube personality spoonfed to you.
thanks for ignoring what i said about the gameplay being bad and resorting to personal attacks.

i can tell you've never played the game, by the way, so maybe you're the one who should leave.

why do you even play games when you have jackstuff fantasy
no damn game puts a story emotion and indication behind every hostile AI
then don't pretend or shove in my face the supposed fact i should feel bad for digitally burning digital caricatures with digital willy pete. sure, it works on a shock level - "OH MY GOD, YOU BURNED INNOCENT PEOPLE." but aside from the initial shock of seeing something like that- there's nothing else that effects me. those people were never shown to me as human beings - in fact, we didn't know about them at all.

It's not manipulating anybody into anything. It's showcasing a big point about shooter games and stories. How you react to that is up to you, but there is a very clear message that the developers are showcasing.
but they didn't need to make it into a turgid, bland, uninspired, and downright unsatisfactory third person shooter, did they? if they wanted to mimic and parody modern shooters, then why is the gameplay so stuff, or stuff all they way throughout? don't they know the reason people play modern shooters is because they're satisfying and fun roller-coaster rides?

THAT'S THE loving POINT. That's exactly what they said with Spec Ops: The Line. The game is saying how every killed character is meaningless in the long run. That point in the game where you use the mortar to launch you-know-what is supposed to show that exact point, and what it also does is reflect on the player.
so why characterize walker? why characterize the other two delta force members? as i said, the acting was mediocre- it shows that they gave the two supporting characters emotions. wouldn't that make their deaths not "meaningless" or not "meaningless" in that they're not just a bunch of cardboard cutouts?

black ops 2 was great so im excited

sorry this is now the "spec-ops the line pissing contest" thread

Willing to bet cash money this time the setting is not going to be on Earth
and instead on the latest battlefields of the internet flame wars

The gameplay isn't bad. Source: I actually played the game.

What the forget? How, lmao? Because I disagree with you? Hey guys, did you hear?! Everyone who enjoyed The Line never actually played it!

i own and have beat the game, dingeling.
In six hours?
Welp, guess I can take that off my to-play list then. Can't imagine it has much in the way of replay value.

Source: literally nobody who has ever played a decent videogame would think binding three major actions to the same button is a good idea

i feel like spec-ops is more of a cult classic because in terms of gameplay it isnt very good, but has the titanium sack needed to express such disgust at video games and the people who play them
its possible that the gameplay is the way it is so that at some point the player thinks "this is forgeted up, im not even having fun at this point, and yet im still playing because i need to know what happens"

i'd actually agree with you if you changed that a little bit

"nobody who has played a game with decent gameplay will call the line's gameplay good."

That's such a comically enormous statement to make that I have to wonder how you expect anybody to take you even remotely seriously.

because literally everybody, even in this thread, agrees with me

The gameplay's not much to write home about.
there are more but really i'm not going to go trudging through any more examples just to vindicate my position any more than i have already.

Oh, I didn't even notice you'd suddenly decided you were only talking about the gameplay. Sorry, I guess I fell into your ruse.
