Author Topic: Australia releases "no jab, no pay" policy  (Read 9376 times)

i could be wrong but i think there's still a chance of vaccinated children getting preventable diseases if they get it from kids who were not vaccinated.
It's their children's lives, not theirs.
To add to this, as I've already said, the virus can mutate in people who didn't get their vaccinations and become vaccine resistant. An example of this would be small pox coming back. So not only is it hurting children, but it's also hurting everyone who was smart enough to be vaccinated. So we're paying for someone else's stupidity.

Yeah "allergies triggered by sight" is definitely bs
But by smell might be legit if the allergy is severe and the smell agreeing enough, idk
Allergies are triggered by proteins. Smells are generally not proteins because proteins are large molecules and thus don't easily vaporize.

Oh you dont want to vaccinate your child? When you outlive your own child you know you forgeted up somewhere

We need to do this in the US

you're absolutely correct, there's a small chance that the virus can still affect you even if you've had the vaccine, one more reason why herd immunity is important

People would go on marches in protest and the combined ignorance would destroy the atmosphere.

honestly most anti-vaxxers aren't that involved enough that they would actually care for that long, methinks

I think most of it is just people wanting to be a part of a cause without having to actually do anything

Good. I can't wait to get a law like this in America before all these diseases come back and start stuffting on us all over again.

Ah, that makes sense

The difference here is it's  not themselves the parents are putting in danger, it's their children and other people around them.
Not vaccinating your kid isn't really child abuse or negligence and other kids aren't your responsibility.

You don't have the right to voluntarily allow your child to contract diseases and spread them to other people's children. The right for you to swing your fist ends at the tip of my nose, bitch.

The difference is, accidentally punching someone isn't illegal unless you cause damage. If your unvaccinated kid intentionally infects another kid then your kid has assaulted them which is a totally different crime. If your unvaccinated kid unintentionally infects another kid who sustains damage from the infection, you are technically culpable for that damage. In reality it'd be impossible to police because there's no way to track the vector of infection, but that's not a reason to make it illegal.

The difference between this and seatbelt laws is that violating a seatbelt law is only harmful to the idiot who disobeys it. If your kid is unvaccinated and gets sick, it's entirely possible he'll spread it to someone who couldn't get vaccinated because of legitimate health reasons.

Sucks for them? It's not Kid A's responsibility to keep kid B healthy. If Kid B has Lupus and Kid A accidentally gives him the flu that's really Kid B's problem not Kid A's.

putting my child and many other children at risk? who the forget cares. you cant control me, this is america. i can kill whoever i want, when i want. this is what the founding fathers had in mind, im sure of it.

more than a little legally spurious, considering the legal shenanigans involving deliberate hiv infections
