I loving laughed my ass off.

Its funny because its true.

national socialist rooster Rockets for gmod

I dunno but I can tell you're really looking forward to it
yeah man i love sfm =-)

i hope this is exclusive to skyrim.  introducing pay-to-break to something like GMod will 100% result in a nuclear-grade stuffstorm and the game's heat death.

The author of the VCMod would love it though, hes a greedy prick that sells all his mods on some third party coding website where you can sell stuff.

This cannot be done to gmod no matter what, it would ruin the game beyond repair, alongside with that there will be DMCA Request flying everywhere because of similar mods that would aim to make a certain paid mod useless.

"starting now"?  are they implying this stuff's malignant and won't be exclusive to bethesda?  god damn

also "earn a living" my ass, they're literally only earning 1/4 of whatever they set (read: jack richard considering some of the mods are multi-author).

reminds me of that one Suggestions & Requests topic about including buyable add-ons in blockland

if a mod creator wants money for stuff he makes for games, he should go apply for a job at a developer.

An awful decision given that this is the modding community. A group who would charge you $30 to get flashing lights (not anything using the flashing lights, just the lights themselves) which is just a 10 line script for Garry's Mod.

Then again, maybe my mods will now be popular because they're free  :cookieMonster:

I'll definitely get more downloads on my maps

will they even listen
They won't do it for this but once they hear their being compared to ea or other companies with bad rep they will end this fast, Calve doesn't like loosing rep, because if this goes on GoG will actually stand a chance against steam, and steam may not be the #1 Multi Media Platform anymore.
