That falls under the big starfishs.
Yeah, 24 hour refunds and live customer service, vs no refunds on steam and little to none customer service. Such big starfishs

I'm pretty sure people's financial stupidity and disability to google doesn't make up for an entire company to be an starfish. If you bought something that's stuff, oh well. You should be careful buying things. If something goes wrong, there's google, there's message boards, etc.

Plus only European customers get to refund their product because of EU laws while everyone else is stuck with Valve's policy. If your company's head executive is going to denounce other corporations like EA, Activision, and Microsoft, then where is the equality?

Wanting to get a refund for a game doesn't mean someone is financially stupid. They played the game, it didn't meet their expectations, they want their money back. There is nothing unreasonable about that.

Not all problems can be solved with a google search. Say the service lost your game or you paid your money and didn't recieve a game etc. Problems happen and I would want good customer service too. You would rather have a automated email send you a solution that has nothing to do with your problem, or a 24/7 live operator who would be there to help you and give you free stuff if you continue to have troubles?

Your logic is stupid.

so every time you buy a product you scour the internet for every possible problem said product has? how long must you go shopping for jeans

So find a way to pirate them. That’s what we all did when we were kids with no money. Valve’s job is to make it more convenient for you to not pirate stuff.

I don't understand.

He's trying to be like dennaton.

It's a Brave New World mate.

Just wondering, was there any warning at all for this kind of thing? We're there any announcements leading up to this kind of decision? It seemed to me that it just came out of the loving blue, and if it did just go into effect without any prior notice, then no wonder there's such a large backlash.
