Author Topic: So I went bike riding today, and it was the worst time of my life.  (Read 2662 times)

iirc sudden pain can cause blackouts and fatigue, isn't a total anomaly when someone passes out because of pain.

I once crashed my bicycle so badly that it broke in half.

was it made of styrofoam lol

i've had a few

  • Locked up my bike at school for an exam, rained while I took the exam. Got on my bike afterward, but since it was wet as stuff (stupid as forget bike racks have no overhang) the brakes failed as I broke to turn left down a ramp next to a staircase. Flew down the staircase. Managed to keep it under control to the bottom but it beat the stuff out of my ass as I juttered down them.
  • Same stuff happened again (wet brakes) but this time with a brick wall. Thank god for helmets.
  • Was riding down the sidewalk when I was adjusting a strap on my helmet, slightly swerved over to the other side of the pathway, some starfish rides directly into me, no bell or nothing, i skid on my shoulder and hand, went home bleeding everywhere
  • Chain fell off (gear skipped) as I came off a curb, bike stalled, almost threw me over the handlebars into oncoming traffic, caught control of it but had bad rubber burns all over my legs

forget bikes

I once got a bolt stuck in my forehead, it was still on the wall

i got hit by a bus and got away with a broken leg and a mangled bicycle. He swerved into the bicycle lane

My friend and I were playing cops and robbers near his old elementary school last fall. We used to play it a lot when we were younger and when he lived close to me. We were on bikes. I was the cop. I wait for him for 5 minutes, and he's not driving by. Turns out, he accidentally hit the corner of the wall and forgeted up his bike a little. cried like a bitch He walked it off no problem, but got a big scratch on one of his legs. I'll see if he can get on BLF to confirm

I once had to ride to a 7/11 on a bike when I was drunk for the first time. I fell, dropped my Slurpee, and almost got hit by a car. T'was fun.

I hate it when the gear slips on bikes, its a pain in the ass. Literally. I had a bike thats gear shifter got bent somehow so it'd skip gears without even switching gears. Eventually just tore it off and removed the chain slack.

Like, an actual bolt? Or was it a screw or nail? A bolt isn't at all sharp, so that would have been amazing.

My bike tire suddenly stopped once and I flew over the handlebars. Inertia's a bitch.
I once used the front brakes only on my mountain bike. Back wheel went up, I came off the seat, went over the handlebars feet-first, and managed to land on my feet in front of my bike, hands still on the handlebars. To this day I still wonder how that happened.

I thought you meant a lightning bolt for a sec

i broke my arm on the boy scout bike safety day in the second grade

was ironic as forget

ITT: dumbasses who never learned to use the rear brake for sudden stops.

Or, in my case, someone who had never experienced the unparalleled stopping power of v-brakes.

pain is good.
bleeding out. major infections. breaking your bones. possiblely brain damage, dying. any other form of such that can really harm your body, is infact bad for you.
