i thought i was doing pretty good
until this happened

Oh my, the irony

oop
gettin btr at this game

ive been doing what i call virus farming

i go to a corner of a map, get to 125-150 mass, then start spamming W on viruses to spread them around

eventually i get a huge wall of viruses that no big cell wants to go through

it's hilarious

let me try that real quick lol

Simultaneously the most fun I've had all day and the most frustrating thing I've ever played.

I hate how hard it is to regroup, everyone else seems to have it down pretty well :(

EDIT: forget this learning curve dude

I'm pretty sure there is a time requirement before you can regroup not really something you can manually do.

Regrouping, as best as I can tell, is solely dependent on your ability to grow one cell significantly larger than the other.
Not sure what the exact mass ranges are, but it isn't time based. Ever notice how you can't consume enemies who are roughly your size? Same thing.

This is what I figured. I really wish you could see the mass of the other players...

I love it when even though I can cover most of an enemy cell's body they don't get absorbed, but when I barely get touched by somebody larger than me I get eaten.

Time is also a factor.
There have been times I've just split, rolled into a bunch of split guys duking it out and that part of me pretty much went back to the size it was before, but I couldn't rejoin for like a minute.

The bigger one part is compared to another though, the faster you will be able to rejoin.

I can 100% confirm that size does not matter when regrouping bc i have tested it by splitting and then not consuming anything for roughly 45 seconds and they regroup just fine.
