:ooooooo mysterious

:ooooooo mysterious
It also ties in with the fact that Judd is a normal cat, despite every other character being aquatic in some way. Also he's most likely really over 12,000 years old due to the
human fossil
that can be found in the Hero Mode.
[/Spoilers]Also the Inklings and Octarians used to live in harmony with each other, but due to land disputes, were forced underground by the Inklings. To make their matters worse, they're running out of power, and the domes are deteriorating.[/Spoilers]

Additionally, this is something we should be thinking about.

Good job with those spoiler tags

EDIT: Never mind I'm stupid

good lord I didn't know there was a big mystery behind the story

The story that the Inklings are actually made of ink also goes with the two main gameplay mechanics: Swimming in ink and going up walls that have ink on them. Think about it, how would the Inklings swim through the ink if it's a very thin layer, rather than a pool of it, by being made out of ink! Also, why would they be able to swim up walls, because they're made of ink. Why would they pop/get slowed down by enemy ink, because they're being mixed into the enemy team's colored ink.
