There's no real compensation for building anything in blockland aside from merit.

You're only losing a tiny bit of admiration, and if you post your builds in the gallery a lot, you'll not only be more well known as the original builder but also the chances of your build being spotted and someone getting called out for it increase a lot. so it's a very minor issue.

Camel kinda sorta already said everything that needs to be said. If some kiddy steals your build, you should've posted it on gallery if it was that big of a deal.

Badspot said that removing the save function is a key-revocable offense, mostly since it would require you to modify the game's core mechanics.

Then you'll have to deal with people saving your builds then.  It's a core feature of the game.  This whole topic is as dumb as those javascript crap things that try to stop you from saving images in your browser.  People like to save builds so they can look at them locally and play with them later, or maybe add on to them on their own server. 

Just because a few 12 year old dorks like to claim credit for other people's work doesn't mean you should cripple the whole game.  Just ignore those people.

If you don't want people "stealing" your builds, put a password on your server or play in single player mode. 

Listen up noobs, saving is here to stay.  If you can't handle someone else playing with your build, grow the hell up.

If you start doing gay stuff to break my game, I'm going to start banning you from the master server.  This is a war you don't want to start because I'm the only one with nukes.

I know how you feel: LEGO creations of mine were "stolen" years ago, so ever since then I've been watermarking them. Many other LEGO builders I know of do the same eventually, not because they don't want their work to be shared, but because they want to be acknowledged.

When it comes to Blockland, all I can give you is the advice others have given: Post as soon as you Host.

I don't see the point in build stealing anymore it's better just to build your own. I can admit that i have stolen a few builds when i first joined Blockland.

If I made a topic where I regularly uploaded to gallery stuff I had built in blockland, I'm sure people wouldn't be interested in looking at it. Although I am getting better at building by the minute, there's. I point uploading small good builds as pictures.... Is there?

Actually, one of the main reasons I have stopped building is when I had this great build in Roblox years ago. One of my friends backstabbed me and took the map and guess what, "his map" ended up getting a million loving visits. Im still pretty good at building, but I rarely have my server unpassworded.

That said, If you didnt want your build stolen, just have it on your server passworded If its that important.
