the key to havel's prison is found on the dead smith past the moonlight butterfly

smiths in dark souls are quite clearly pro-fire/pro-lords and sometimes immortal* (if you kill andre in ds3 he respawns; time has passed since ds2 because the ladder guy can be found dead and the corpse is where you get the gesture letting you lie down so it's clearly not just "ds1 happened recently")

*ornifex not included because ds2 plot is a mess
