what's this

That's the showroom floor like where everyone gets to play the games. Or something. Idk.

So, an E3 that started out so well with Bethesda was promptly murdered by Nintendo and Square Enix with possibly the most boring pressers ever.

the one i didn't want to miss
and i miss it

what was announced and was there a new punch-out

So, an E3 that started out so well with Bethesda

started out well and bethesda shouldn't be in the same sentence

y'all fools only want fallout 4

...doesn't save a whole presentation

doom and ESO and battlecry fortress 2 ruined the whole thing

dishonored had a very pretty cg trailer. im excited by the concept of it cus i really enjoyed the first one, but i wouldn't say that won e3

personally i liked doom, it just looked fun and gory, so bethesda certainly gets a good rating from me.

like I said before you seem to be the minority in that opinion.

Only things I disliked about Bethesda's presentation were Battlecry (Samurai TF2?) and TES:Legends (AKA Hearthstone ripoff)

Rest of it was A+

Bethesda killed it... Doom looked Doomey, we knew there'd be ESO bullstuff and the BattleCry thing is just TF2 with swords, Dishonored 2 is hyped as stuff, Fallout 4 and Shelters wrap it up. Great conference, they knew what they wanted to do and entertained throughout it.

Plus, Todd Howard is now a golden god.

That Fallout hype has people with blinders on from the fact that Dishonored 2 and Fallout were the only games Bethesda announced that weren't bad.

You can't really stuff on anything else if your standard for a good conference was 1 super-hyped game and a single other good game.

Not to say it wasn't one of the best given their dedication to actual games.

like I said before you seem to be the minority in that opinion.

So what, that makes me wrong?

I don't want to play stuffty games. Literally nothing about Doom, ESO or Battlecry presented made me want to play them or spend money on them. The first two were just good franchises being run into the ground.

I genuinely think Bethesda burnt their bridges for everything else this year just for Fallout 4, which to be honest looked good but I'm not going to hold my breath until I see the actual game in motion, and I don't think it saved the conference.

Dishonored 2 didn't really show enough gameplay to make me care about it. It was just enough cinematic trailer.

Doom is just fundamentally bad. There's nothing about it that resembles the past games. It looks like all they did to make it is picked up the pieces that Doom 3 butchered and pieced together another installment just to make cash off of it.

yes
sure

anyways back to actually seeing a conference for what it was instead of feeding a circlejerk
