Author Topic: E3 2015 Megathread: DAY THREE: NINTENDO (SCREWED UP), SQUARE ENIX, PC GAMING SHO  (Read 82704 times)

Maybe Nintendo is just putting out filler and next year will be awesome
haha oh god whyyyy
That's pretty much what they're doing. Reggi said that even in the conference that they're "transforming" and he said that they'll talk about project NX at next E3.

its possible tho with their next console coming out in a year or two

Well really its more of a spiritual successor to Ico, but okay.
its unknown whether its a related to ico or SOTC so its a successor to both of them

I'm betting on sotc, I mean what were the colossi even doing with their time and why do they exist?

Chances are that doge is the LAST one and guardian would explain what they were for.

I hope it will release in 2 years or later since I just got my WII-U last year. Having the console's lifetime less than 8 years is a bit of a richard move. You want to feel like you got your money's worth from what you bought. If I "have" to buy another console only after a year or two of just getting the last one, I'll feel pretty damn stuffty.

EDIT:

Wasn't there always a rumor that there was one last collosus that you could battle through an easter egg or some sort?

Looking forward to:

DOOM (Map Editor) - Probably won't purchase it right out of the gate, but I want to play with the SnapMap feature.
Fallout 4 - Duh.
Fallout Shelter - If only my iPod wasn't a stuffty old thing...
Mirror's Edge Catalyst - That looks like it's going to kick some major arse.
Unravel - Beautiful little indie game.
Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Siege - Really starting to shape up.
Assassin's Creed Syndicate - The behind the scenes are looking better than what they're showing on stage.
The Last Guardian - Looks like a fantastic platformer/adventure game, and absolutely worth the wait.
Horizon - Holy forget. Robot Dinosaurs.
Batman: Arkham Knight - Getting it for PC post-release, but I'm hyped.
No Man's Sky - DIS GUN B GUD
Dreams - Looks absolutely incredible. Not sure why a similar thing was never released for the PC.
Ratchet & Clank - Saw some of the streams even though it wasn't onstage. loving beautiful.
Mass Effect Andromeda - Not enough to tell if it's a good game yet, but it's at least shaping up.
Firewatch - Looks like a damn good game that I can't believe I didn't see before.

Was disappointed by:

Need for Speed - The vehicle handling/controls seem at this stage to be the same as the more recent games. The police are once again moving brick walls which makes them far less fun than the destructible yet light and nimble Most Wanted ones. The voicing was absolutely pathetic (not even up to the B-Grade standard of Most Wanted or the Underground games). Customisation looked loving nice, but not enough to save this game. forget off, EA.
Star Wars: Battlefront - Nothing in the gameplay demo made me want to play it, especially after the denouncement of space battles, galactic conquest and a full campaign. The missions seem okay, but really I can tell that this is going to be a multiplayer-driven DLC forgetfest, and I don't want any part of it. forget off, EA.
Halo 5: Guardians - What the forget did Microsoft do to Halo?

You forgot The Division, but you can sum that up with "DayZ syndrome, you either love or hate it"

its unknown whether its a related to ico or SOTC so its a successor to both of them
Forgot to mention that too. I want to see more gameplay of The Last Guardian in the future, it definitely looks interesting. Hopefully it will worth the wait.

Hey atleast Doom 4 is probably better than any of Nintendo's releases ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

not at all

doom 4 is garbage

this e3 is tearing us aparrrrt

Doom 4 looks less fun than Fallout 4.

:)

hey mcjorb innit day three!?

Today is the first day of the Ubisoft World Event, so I'm going to be very busy.

Firewatch - Looks like a damn good game that I can't believe I didn't see before.
completely forgot about that one, looks like it's coming along great
