I don't know why I should upgrade to 10 when I just got comfortable with 8.

I don't know why I should upgrade to 10 when I just got comfortable with 8.

Because there's no full screen metro start menu

and better
No.
In the research I am doing windows 10 seems like it is going to forget alot of stuff up.
It has mandatory updates, which already completely forget over my computer as I attempt to struggle with the few bytes of internet that trickle in occasionally to carefully cater in order to install the updates that fail to download 90% of the time. And appearantly theres some file pagining stuff that tries to sync your computer at all times to your cloud account, that microsoft is going to be soon forcing everyone to use.
No I am not liking this one bit.

And I liked the windows 8 start screen.

Oh and you have to have third party dvd readers now, no more Windows Movie Player, and while that isn't so bad it sucks if it means you have to now download a program because it didnt come default.

People dont seem to realize each bit of information tranferred over the internet costs energy which in turn costs precious resources. We are wasting our planet away by forcing down arbitrarily large and unnessisarily frequent packets of information thousands of miles only to have that information be erased the next day because there was a mistake in that release and oh they need you to download the next update all over again

i doubt it

Well to be honest in Windows 10 the option is there to either use a regular start menu or the regular metro menu.

OneDrive is optional. It's a core Windows app, but you have to tell it what to sync, so you can just ignore it if you don't want it.

forget me, you sound like a little cry-baby who is upset that he doesn't have a decent Internet connection. It's your own fault, not the fault of the content providers.
