well not really
that doesn't even make sense

can i just reinstall these

Well to be honest in Windows 10 the option is there to either use a regular start menu or the regular metro menu.
It's not the same though.

Oh and you have to have third party dvd readers now, no more Windows Movie Player, and while that isn't so bad it sucks if it means you have to now download a program because it didnt come default.
Are you getting Windows Media Player and Windows Movie Maker confused with each other? I've never heard of this 'Windows Movie Player'

Windows Media Player will always be a part of any Windows OS, but if you do have to download a third party DVD player, VLC's pretty good for such things

Maybe when they're updated to have proper drives and such for 10

He was referring to Windows Media Player which is being removed.

I don't want to read a wall of text, can somebody just rate for me how similar Win10 is to Win7?
I seriously love windows 7 and don't want another Windows 8 fiasco on my computer.

forget me, you sound like a little cry-baby who is upset that he doesn't have a decent Internet connection. It's your own fault, not the fault of the content providers.

Fixed.

I went and reserved an upgrade.  I hope it's as easy to use as Windows 7 has been.

rip in pepperoni win7

the only problem i have with windows 10 is that sometimes the start menu won't open and it makes me want to hang myself

hopefully they'll fix it in the next update tho

All I want to know before I upgrade is whether or not doing so will wipe everything from my computer.
Can anyone confirm if it does or not?

NOTHING WILL BE REMOVED FROM YOUR COMPUTER.

So wait will Wnidows 10 forget my stuff up if I install it? What problems does it have so far? Also where do I go to install it? I did the sign up thing before but I can't seem to install it from the icon in my system tray.

Sorry I haven't read through this entire thread yet.
