not
transparent
I can just barely notice the transparency, it looks pretty solid to me

windows 7 is the best and will always be the best
To me right now Windows 7 in comparison to Windows 10 is like Windows XP in comparison to Windows 7.

I found a fix for the people who meet all the requirements but don't have the icon (Windows 7):
1) Uninstall KB3035583
2) Reboot computer
3) Reinstall update with this standalone installer: http://download.windowsupdate.com/d/msdownload/update/software/updt/2015/05/windows6.1-kb3035583-x64_d6308e28c41fcbd15695343d83709ed1c4bf5812.msu
4) Run this code through a bat in an elevated command prompt
Code: [Select]
REG QUERY "HKLM\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\AppCompatFlags\UpgradeExperienceIndicators" /v UpgEx | findstr UpgEx
if "%errorlevel%" == "0" GOTO RunGWX
reg add "HKLM\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\AppCompatFlags\Appraiser" /v UtcOnetimeSend /t REG_DWORD /d 1 /f
schtasks /run /TN "\Microsoft\Windows\Application Experience\Microsoft Compatibility Appraiser"
:CompatCheckRunning
schtasks /query /TN "\Microsoft\Windows\Application Experience\Microsoft Compatibility Appraiser"
schtasks /query /TN "\Microsoft\Windows\Application Experience\Microsoft Compatibility Appraiser" | findstr Ready
if NOT "%errorlevel%" == "0" ping localhost >nul &goto :CompatCheckRunning
:RunGWX
schtasks /run /TN "\Microsoft\Windows\Setup\gwx\refreshgwxconfig"

You should get the icon, I did, atleast.

Even though I think Windows 10 will have less bugs than Windows 8, I'm still going to wait until a month or two after the official release to upgrade just incase.

not
transparent
But turning off transparency is an option, in build 10130, the toggle for transparency is still there.

im unable to activate my win10 XD

also, why dosnt this version have a black background for solid color options? its just some light gray color as darkest...

I really dislike the solid color windows on the new windows versions, maybe it's just me.
you mean.. you actually preferred windows 7's aero theme? what? why? it always brings me to flashbacks of these themes and i die a little inside when i have to use them

perhaps that's why using windows 7 feels so archaic and obsolete

what the forget is that

y'all know that you can disable transparency on win7, right?

All set for Windows 10, just need my mom's approval. I'm not going to go into detail about it. I'm just going to say she doesn't want me to upgrade yet.
