How the forget are people defending Rockstar?

They raised the default price of the game, then put it on sale and threw in some extra stuff so it looks okay.

What they did was scummy as forget.

They wanted to keep their game at retail price but were required to have a sale involving the game so they did that. How is that scummy or even a big deal? It's a brand new game made by big time company and completely understandable that they didn't want to put it on sale

Required to have the sale? Maybe im living under a rock but since when would a company be required to put a game on sale?

Someone posted earlier that if someone wants their games on steam that they have to agree to sales during special events like this.

I dont know how true that is, but if it is true, whats the problem with 10% off of $60? They'd be losing almost nothing, and sales would be up way more than they are right now.

Many people were waiting for this sale to buy GTAV at whatever discount they decided to put the game at.
Then, the game goes on "sale" for retail price with a bonus that is absolutely useless to probably half of the people who buy the game.
The game came out two loving years ago. And while I understand that it just recently came to PC in April, its still an older game.

Not to mention its a daily deal, which is supposed to be for actual deals, not full priced games.

I completely understand that Rockstar is able to do whatever they want, and im fine with that. But im completely allowed to be pissed off by their decision.
