Valve chooses what they want as a daily deal, not Rockstar.
Do you have proof of this? Because that doesnt sound true at all.

And even if it is true, Rockstar should let Steam do whatever the forget they want(Within reason, of course.), because 25% off of their game is nothing, especially since they'd be selling a lot more copies right now.

How else would daily deals be chosen? The game developers certainly don't do it. I'm sure Valve contacts them before they make the game a daily deal, but that's probably Rockstar's only involvement in the whole thing.

Why not? Developers can put their games on sale whenever they want. Why would they not be able to choose whether they wanted to be a daily deal or not?

Im sure some developers would love for their game to be a daily deal, considering all the extra revenue they would pull in.

Rockstar could surely say "forget no." if Steam wanted to discount their game and they didnt want to.

I'm not sure you understood my post. Developers can't just throw their game on the front page of steam. Valve has to have some sort of involvement for it to get there.

And if a developer doesnt want their game to be a daily deal, they can say no.

Rockstar wasnt forced into being a daily deal. I have no doubt they worked with Valve to appear as a daily deal. But what they've done is found a loophole to "discount" their game, while still selling it at full price.

This isnt even the first time this has happened. I have no idea why you're defending Rockstar for being greedy. All I know is that they've lost my business.

Who are you to say what the game is worth?

Same stuff can be said for you. Who are you to say that the game is worth full sale price when it's being advertised as a sale price? You're essentially just blindly appealing to an authority here. We're the ones who buy and play the damn game, so yeah, I'd say the consumer is the one to say what the game is worth, it's up to the company if they want to overcharge or not.

There's a brick wall here. If you wanna keep buying over priced games because you believe the developer is always right or some stuff go ahead and do that but the rest of us can recognize when we're getting defrauded.

Except not everyone has a million dollars pouring out their ass to afford games at a full 60$ price, they would have more consumers buying their game if they just put it on sale without the additional stuff
rule #1
never go to a public lobby

raven must be a new recruit over from console gaming. he has yet to see the issues here lol.
no one is spoiled here. this is a different industry. rockstar dosnt want to think so.
raven would just as well our market get poisoned as well.

Ok so I bought half life complete, the fallout classics, gtaiv+San Andreas, and borderlands GOTY, with around 24 dollars left
Thank gaben

Another problem with the shark card bundle thing is that Rockstar is using it to prevent people from refunding them game.

Pretty much its a loophole in steams system, where since the shark card is automatically consumed by your account, the game is then unrefundable. hence why they removed the normal GTA V at the start, so no one could refund the game even if they couldn't run it/didn't like it.

Only Rockstar would make people pay 60 dollars for a 2 year old game lmao

Wait, so what the forget? It keeps giving me the 'There was a problem trying to join a game. Please try again later.' message. Do I need to craft the badge before I can play or are the servers just full?

Just keep trying, after a while it worked for me

Just join another friend already in-game, it pretty much always works if you do that.

I'm waiting for more 50%+ sales on my wishlist games.
A few of am are likely to be flash sales eventually
