Startup pre or post launcher?
Post Launcher. It'll get less than a minute into the start up screen and then crash.

If it persists you might want to contact report the issue since it's a problem others are probably having.
I'm updating my drivers and tried the Beta. Beta didn't work, I'll see if the updated drivers help.

So what's the trick with making dosh from your settlements? do you need stores?

Haven't got a clue, but I'd assume its through selling stuff you produce.

Can I just say that the UI is loving atrocious.

What the forget were they thinking. Getting rid of the old inventory screen is stupid as forget in an RPG like this. Everything is so clunky it takes forever to loving find anything.

EDIT1: Also I like melee combat, but having somethings inventory screen pop up just by hovering over them is dumb as stuff. Because now im in the middle of fighting some forgeters and i accidentally grab an item for some dumb loving reason.

forget.

EDIT2: What the forget happened to power armour being something you had to be trained how to use? Like I know its a different system and all, but still what the forget. I just walk out of the vault and I can already masterfully use this armour that in previous games, you had to "earn"?

EDIT3: Im actually enjoying the game. Im just making a list of things I hate.

EDIT4: SPOILERS!!!!!!!! Okay so now people can loving read minds? When and where the forget did that stuff come in to play? !!!!!!!!!ENDSPOILERS

EDIT4: -spoiler snip-
1. The UI is pretty mediocre. Usable, but definitely not smooth.
2. The old inventory screen was a pain in the ass. The new one is great, I don't have to open and exit every loving container and body, ya just look at them and take stuff.
3. If you're taking stuff from their inventory while you're fighting, you're not playing the game properly. The "take" button is your interaction key, so if you're trying to interact with people you're fighting, well, that's your deal.
4. Story-wise, the male protag was in the army yeah? Might've had training. Don't know about female protags though. Otherwise, I couldn't give a stuff about when they give you power armour, I never bothered with it in 3 or New Vegas, but now its more akin to a vehicle for long distance travel and risky locales rather than an actual set of armour.
5. Good. :)
6. Might be nice if you made the spoiler transparent.

spoilers:that psychic lady can only do it under the influence of chems, so i imagine that somehow she's able to take in more information than usual and arrange it in her head in a way that allows her to interpret thoughts, history, present events and future events based off of present events...

but i'm just talking out my ass dude it's a game

I really like the old system. I got a clear view of everything that was there and i could easily transfer things back and forth with ease.

Im just thankful that I play on PC and im sure there will be mods to fix my woes soon enough.

EDIT: Also I can totally tell im gonna spend more time with this settlement stuff than with the actual game.

Eh really? I dont mean to be the downer here but like... Theres a lot of stuff they could have done better. Im also 2 hours into the game.

The main thing bugging me right now is dialogue. In every other Beth game I liked being able to just make random conversation with people and learn stuff. Here it seems like they kinda did away with that.

Is anyone else having issues with bad stuttering? I'm going to try windowed borderless mode but it doesn't go up to my full resolution.

PATROLLING THE MOJAVE ALMOST MAKES YOU WISH FOR A NUCLEAR WINTER
YOU EYEBALLIN' ME?
grade a dialogue

Holy stuff the ghouls are terrifying. Accidentally stumbled onto a pack of them and nearly lost my dog. Love the combat and enemy movements.

Also got attacked by a death claw once I got the power armor. Thought I was gonna die for sure

I think I know which one you're talking about haha, the trainyard?

I was fighting a Deathclaw in the Power Armor, he loving turns around and slams Dogmeat. I felt really bad for the dog because he was sitting there were torn up legs and was dragging them across the ground. Stimpak fixed it tho.

Oh yeah, I fixed the crashing issue. Updated my drivers. Seemed to be the issue, and ironically I think it might've solved some issues in Fallout New Vegas as well.
