T-60 is trash retcon. T-51 4 lyfe.

but i'd like to see some power armor that wasn't being used for ground forces on the front line. the mod project nevada did this perfectly. they added a new power armor design that was meant to be used by the airforce. it was called T-57C or something and it was designed for pilots/paratroopers or something like that. it was really cool.

here's a pic

How would power armor help a pilot?

maybe when they get shot down they can survive and put up a fight on their own. extra survivability given the fact pilots are difficult to train.

I have a theory for fallout 4's DLC or possibly fallout 5.

if you go with the BoS, which I think will end up being the canon ending, they end up having pretty much unchallenged dominance over the entire east coast. The BoS in NV got dunked hard and with so many endings involving wiping out that bunker it can be assumed that the NV chapter is dead. It's not too far of a stretch that if the NCR gets control of the dam or at the very least gets the legion to forget off that they will blitz the last bastion of the BoS in California and win, giving them nominal control of the West. Logically both factions would want to expand inland. If they both did, the point where they meet would most likely end up being along the Mississippi, specifically Chicago. A showdown there would be cool as forget, especially since its stated that the Midwestern brotherhood went even more AWOL than the east coast brotherhood. It's also stated at least once with ED-Es questline that the enclave also had at least a small hidden base there.

maybe it's just wishful thinking since I want a Midwestern fallout badly

what about one in china

got the x-01 power armor from 35 court, but then found another full set at south boston checkpoint.  current level is 52, found it in the high forties.

t-60 helmet + x-01 everything else

This

Though I'm kinda hoping I don't find any X-01 legs since I've got Honor helping me sprint everywhere

I found the X-01 power armour at 35 Court at level 28.

pretty sure i've seen more vertibirds blown out of the sky than the bos actually has in that area

one crashed less than 5 yards away from me last night lol

the legs are the only things I'm missing as well

isn't the enclave in chicago?

kinda kills the whole "Vault Tec + American consumerism parody" theme

whoops, somehow missed that last part

I personally don't mind that too much, because the storyline of the games never really revolve around this.
It's just a theme in the background, an explanation for why America was like it was when the bombs fell.

Playing through the last three games, I've never felt that American Consumerism is a significant aspect of what I am seeing/doing at the time.
And as far as Vault-Tec goes, I feel like there's nothing new for me to discover. I enjoy Vault-Tec and the vaults, but I know their background, and that things weren't as they seem.

I wouldn't mind seeing the Chinese communist alternatives, which surely there were similarities.
Enough so to maintain the core gameplay and style we've been used to. Plus, there would be American aspects too, since they were in a war with each other, and Americans landed in China, and even took some cities prior to the bombs falling.
