I finished the game last night, now I wanna start building a settlement. Where's the best place to do that? The drive-in and the boathouse both look pretty good but I'd like to know everyone else's opinions.

Let me know any custom spots as well, I don't mind using the console to place a workbench.

Use the workshop menu to scrap the radioactive barrels. That gets rid of the radiation.

spectacle island and nordhagen beach are my favorites i've discovered so far and i haven't even gotten to the southeast corner of the map

I was psyched to use the Castle until I hit the arbitrary size limit after placing a few beds and electrical systems. Thanks Bethesda for ruining all my fun.

Looks cool yeah, but I dont think it fits very well with the lore
It fits in perfectly wtf are you on about? Water Cooled machineguns are like the number #1 retro weapon that appears in this kind of theme.

Anybody notice when you enter sanctuary there is a few notes that play that are pretty close to I don't wanna set the world on fire/Maybe/Most Inkspots songs?

'I don't want to set the world on fire' is in the game. It plays on DCR.

Yeah I noticed it
I was thinking Maybe

Pretty sure it does. It's a post apocalyptic atmosphere. By not including it they are dulling the atmosphere they are trying to create.
In reality raiders would just rape anything that moves.

Right now the game doesn't even feel brutal. It feels more cartoony than anything. I can't take it seriously.
if you weren't trolling this might have made you the edgiest person of 2015
Also, stop.
