So, disappointingly, automatrons do not work well with settlement shops.
They can be assigned to them, but have difficulty standing behind them properly.
You also can't trade with them, as interacting with them brings up the dialogue choices for companions.

Shame. I wanted a robo-barkeep.
Theres a mod that adds small rugs which can be used as shops, forgot what its called atm but I'll check later.

Are they ever gonna add Wattz laser weapons?

I was hoping for some at the Wattz building

Exciting. Can't wait, looks like new enemies too. Hopefully more stuff besides building too.

Might finally get some use out of my recourse collections. I've been stockpiling and hoarding everything.

I'm currently planning out a big move; my Base of Operations is Red Rocket Truck Stop where I've got about 18 frames, all of my companions and all of my objects stored. Because of the companions, they count as a "population" for my settlement, so I'm frequently getting attacked by Super Mutants and there are Wastelanders who waltz on by and try to steal my stuff. I'm going to move everything to The Mechanist's Lair, which not only has enough space to actually fit every frame in the Commonwealth, but should also be secure from richardheads who want to knick my adhesive.

I was at the Wattz building, I was hoping for Wattz weapons.

I was disappointed. So we now know Wattz electronics is in the east coast too but their weapons aren't.

is it just me or are they following the same DLC pattern as skyrim
like literally it's the same concept exactly

There is like 20 something settlements, some literally less than 3 minutes apart from each other.

I don't think we need more settlements.

I think it's the homemaker mod. I think.

I think it's somewhat more coincidental than planned.

Dawnguard was significantly bigger than Automatron, for starters.
If anything, Automatron was more a means of giving us robot creation, than a story add-on, whereas Dawnguard was much more story-driven.

At any rate, Fallout 4 will have at least 4 DLC, possibly more. Whereas Skyrim only had 3, and 1 of them was a little lacking for PC players (Hearthfire was pretty much made in response to mods letting people build houses).

Don't get me wrong I loved skyrim which is clear by my 2000+ hours in it and even it's dlc was acceptable.
I also really like what fallout 4 is becoming so I have no complaints with it. Just wondering if anyone else was getting that vibe

I get what you mean.
The similarity is quite obvious, but I don't think it's really indicative of Bethesda's DLC plans or anything, just being a coincidence.

Definitely have the vibe, but at least its being released early. I never even got to Dawnguard in Skyrim because it was released so late I stopped caring. Hopefully Far Harbor releases within the next month or two.
