I'll sign up, but I'm never going to war lol

All males have to register with the draft,
Why haven't I seen a feminist complain about this yet?? I thought it was for equality for both lovees????

at first i thought you were revealing yourself as frankie mcdonald but yeah ok

It's still a legal obligation for males between 18 and 25 to be registered for the draft, if the need for it comes. It won't. That doesn't free you of your obligation, and selective service will still prosecute you for refusing to sign up for selective service. They will keep harassing you, send you emails, mail, threats in the mail, and show up at your doorstep. If you still refuse to sign up, they'll prosecute you for a felony.

Usually when you register to vote there's a separate section on the forms to sign up for selective service. I did mine separately so I didn't have to fill in that part, but I remember it being there.

I've never heard anything from them so maybe I did.

You can get the form at the post office and mail it from there. You can also complete it online.

i did too

if they ever try to draft me, i'd rather spend time in prison than go off to fight some stupid politician's war.
In my opinion from the people I have met, it's useless the warhawks and war mongers are the ones who willingly avoid doing any of the fighting themselves, but they will gladly send someone else to go fight for them.

ma said they used to come up to your door and say 'get the forget out here ur gonna be in the army mothaforgeta' even if you were like 16 or 14

Considering what happened during the Vietnam war, I'm not sure if the draft is going to go over so well with the general population.

Had to register recently. Too bad for them that I can't fight frontlines, I'm a "fortunate son".

sweet i know where palatine is

On the other hand you have a Middle Eastern meat grinder in which the nation has no interest in. Men and women are fighting and dying, and a fair majority either don't care, or don't voice an opinion.

I read an article by a soldier who postulated that we need a draft, so that the nation actually cares about where there sons and daughters are going to fight and die.

"I need masculinism because the majority of combat troops are male, and women don't have to register for the draft,"
