Made a thread for this one.

A few other harrowing experiences:

One time when visiting the National Weather Service in St Louis, I suffered from heat exhaustion causing me to faint and crash into a window. I was don't remember how old I was, probably 12 to 14.

On December 31, 2010, a weak tornado passed within a mile of my house. Another tornado spawned by the same storm tracked down the road that I take towards St Louis killing one person.

In October 2012, my dad and I were caught driving home and ran into a violent rotating thunderstorm at night about 3 miles from my house. Nothing was visible and large hail was pounding the car. We turned away from our direction of travel but we didn't know what direction the storm was going, so we took refuge at an abandoned gas station.

Numerous escapades between the ages of 8 and 10 included me playing in the middle of a highway trying to get cars to run over soda cans, teasing drunk teenagers who tried to chase me, having a run-in with a pre-teen street gang which I managed to outrun, and digging animal bones out of the street in front of my house.

6-ish years old. choked on a marble.

10 years old. almost got my head chopped off by a car window i was looking out of.

12 years old. nearly drowned in my cousin's pool.

that's about it.

Walking into a church parking lot and having an older lady almost run me over.

Not me, but my Grandfather. He was sitting on a bench is a locker room, bending over to tie his shoe. One of the jocks thought it would be funny to take a javelin and throw it over his head. It hit the wall behind him, with the jock and his friends laughing their asses off.

So that's how I was almost not born.

fell off a roof while clearing the gutters and almost landed straight on my head which would have either broke my back or neck, adjusted myself in mid air and walked away with a broken arm and several fractured ribs.

created an account on the blf

almost decided to commit Self Delete after a breakup because i was a loving idiotic 16 year old

gladly, i didn't

ive hit my head a lot of times on the ground but have never came close to dying

Crossed Santa Fe and Juan B Justo diagonally.

Followed Taciturn into an intersection on my bike, trusting that he'd looked both ways.  Car almost hit us both.

A bunch of rebar (may have been cross braces) fell from pulley system I was operating and missed me by a few feet.

Tie between those.

Fell down the stairs a few times but I never got seriously injured by it.

Ran into a group of maybe three coyotes this Winter.  If I hadn't surprised them because the snow muffled the sound of my approach, they probably coulda taken me even though I had my trusty walking cudgel and was in foul enough a mood to bring home a pelt.  I was exhausted from wading through all that snow, and after I chased them off about a hundred feet I was more exhausted still; if they'd decided to turn back instead of running further when they paused, it could well have been the end of me.

Walking into a church parking lot and having an older lady almost run me over.

Exact same thing happened to a friend I have, except he was hit by the car suffering a broken arm. He had to get a permanent metal brace put inside his arm to aid the healing process.

nearly drowned at five years old; split my head open on a solid metal door at seven or eight years; slipped on the stairs more times than i can count; skip to this year where by not watching where i was going got bashed in the head with some sound equipment

broke my arm playing football without any pads the friday before last halloween. i hit two guys, one broke the arm, the other slammed his forehead into my upper lip. had he been any taller, my nose bone would've gone through to my brain.

choked on a lifesaver (pretty ironic if you ask me).
