This is more towards drm and not towards the game itself. I haven't had a problem with the game itself ever.

So today I felt like screwing around in GTA like most people do, and I go to play and get to the sign in screen. It tells me to sign in, and I thought nothing of it. Skipping time it's now 2 hours from when I started and I can't sign in to even play single-player.

The fact that you have to sign in to R* servers just to play single-player is infuriating. The worst part is, is that it's a steam problem and not even the rockstar servers. I understand that every game is entitled to be protected from piracy, but when it goes to a level where the games offline mode is unplayable due to maintenance is just boggling my mind. I feel that the game that I payed 60 well earned USD should be available to me whenever and not when R* or Steam feels like it.

Of all the things you would rant about in GTA V its DRM?

Man the game is infected by modders/hackers, making the online experience terrible. I think thats worse than a system put in place to try and stop people from pirating the game.

GTA V online is fun when you're with the right people, last night me, Legoboss, and a few others had a blast until a certain couple of people person thought it'd be cool to hack.

I personally don't see that many hackers in Online and even if I do, I simply just find another game and then they're usually gone. Plus half of the time I go onto Online I'm in a private lobby with friends.

Though, It's a problem that does need to be taken care of. I just find being able to even get into the game is more important than hackers/modders.

the only reason it's more fun to play games like GTA Online on console is because it's a lot harder to hack/mod, so when you actually do get a modded console/game, it's a lot more rewarding because everyone is amazed.

Sadly i tend to find a hacker in nearly every lobby im in and also i don't really have anyone who plays GTA. out of the 28 people who own the game, only 3 ever play it, and only 2 of which even play online. Not like its easy to find people in GTA online anyways since 99% of the people online are cunts in GTA.

Honestly i just want a competent group to heist with, since there are so many people who think rushing in is the best idea and not realizing that its not single player and enemies need more than 3 shots to die.
