Author Topic: Rockstar raises price of GTA by $25 to circumvent Steam Summer Sale  (Read 3104 times)

And it doesn't look like it went very well for them.
this happened with the singleplayer mod fiasco where people left streams of negative reviews despite rockstar never banning for single player mods
doesn't really prove a point now either

and Skyrim with paid mods

Of course people bitch when a new game doesn't go on sale. Plus it seems people don't know how to read whatsoever and call them greedy because of it.

Its called business. Sure, its stops refunds, but you wouldn't have complained about that 3 weeks ago. The current discount is ok for its overall price. the game itself is worth the $60. If anyone is a greedy "jew" then its those who complain about its price.

This is nothing but a scumbag cash-grab by a company who has already made the best selling game of this generation. Also because the "Shark Card" is used up instantly, this voids Steam Refunds.
loving sketch. I was actually planning to buy GTA V during the summer sale, but that's never going to happen now.

"new"

This new summer sale thing is making people act spoiled as forget lol. It's a video game, pay up the $60 if you want the game so bad. It's not that much.
$60
not that much.

it's new to some PC users wtf

The current discount is ok for its overall price.
The current discount of 10 cents? That's a discount of 0.17%.

The price was raised because of the additional free money card in the package. The base price of the game is unchanged. In addition, the game without the card is still up on the store for purchase at original price.
If Rockstar wanted to throw in a free shark card they would have made a 60 dollar bundle and not put it on sale. They are trying to make it look like you are getting a deal to people who don't know any better.

I guess this means the Jewish mafia will return in GTA 6.

wouldnt you guys call it a bit unfair that

there are 3 summer sales actually cheaper than the game without sale on mexico?

edit to clarify, comparing us and mx prices

I meant comparing mexico and US prices, I know there is a difference cus USD and MX

but you see in mexico GTA V price, although it got higher, it has 30% less, however the price is still cheaper than the actual game

in US the price is higher but the with the % less it is the same price as it was before
I shouldve clarified that in my other post
