First party adapter (The one I have, works flawlessly)

Mayflash Third party adapter (never used it but people say it works just as well as first party)

yep. two usb ports, one for the adapter and one that powers the rumble.

works natively with newer versions of dolphin so no drivers needed

the first party adapter works with the computer?

Yes, Dolphin has native support for it. As such, it is lagless. You could also use x360ce and vJoy to basically play any game using the adapters, with a bit of setup.
