Why should we?

It's a good indicator to see who to avoid completely.

Censorship of any kind is bad.
Besides, it's a good way of spotting starfishs

lol banning symbols. what country are you actually from that you think that is a thing?

see: Germany & swastika

(this is related to symbols - not comparing the flag and swastika.)

even so, it seems a bit drastic and handicapped to start a war over that
there's a reason the country is democratic; if you failed the vote, you failed the vote. deal with it.

who told you this was a democracy? lol
man are you going to be disappointed someday when you become an adult.

Yes, Germany loves censorship. All the more reason to never go there.

"banned"? no

i'm not sure i agree with having government buildings flying it (like for one how is it even relevant these days aside from historical significance), but it shouldn't be "banned." it's a part of us history regardless of how shameful that history might be for one, for another it's just a symbol and banning it is kinda against general US political philosophy i feel.

yeah it was about states rights
to own slaves..............
Well the north treated the south like stuff and was just as guilty for slavery. For example all the textile mills in the north used southern cotton which came from the large cotton plantations. Plus cotton was taxed by the government, so that money went towards infrastructure projects in the north. For example railroads, paved roads, and cbrown towns were being built and allowed more industries to form in the north at the expense of the south. The slaves themselves were expensive and only the giant plantation owners could afford slaves with Lincoln being voted in, people pretty much freeked thinking that the north was going to bully them again by taking away their slaves. Kind of like today when people freaked out about Obama, except Lincoln was a Republican and the south consisted of Democrats.

Slavery had to go, but the Union was no saint in the affair either. Also another unknown fact is that the civilized tribes like the Cherokees owned black slaves of their own and fought along side the confederacy.

As for the stars and bars as well CSA flag, I say let them fly by historic places.

no
how else will i know who has the lowest intelligence in my area? they're dumb enough to put it up themselves, for chrissakes.

not really, the only case of censorship i've heard about is the swastika, which i feel is justified

from what i've gleaned, it's tribal as stuff regardless of historical importance.

so no.  instead, anyone spotted flying them should be put on government watchlists permanently.

but its legal to be tribal. what exactly are you watching them for?
