I get that, but untruthful or corrupt scientists are a minority. And I mean, there are phonies in all fields and jobs, y'know?

And also, science is not infalliable, it changes all the time. That's what's so great about science, theories and knowledge can be challenged and improved.

I mean nearly everyone qualified to actually know facts about our climate will tell you that there's a ginormous problem with climate change. To directly say that every single one of those qualified professionals are lying and that the whole concern is a scam is a huge loving claim for some stupid kid on the internet.

I mean the best assumption to take with science is that it's all wrong, as history has shown, but we tend to get closer to truth. Aristotle was more accurate than cavemen, Newton was more accurate than Aristotle, and Einstein was more accurate than Newton. Logic follows that we will continue being wrong - but get a little closer every time.

But this applies to theories, not simple observations of fact. We may not have a perfect theory for atmospheric thermodynamics, but we do know that we're emitting a lot of CO2, CO2 changes the climate, and the climate is changing. And it's all consistent with the Industrial Revolution. Science may not be perfect, but it's the best we have. loving listen to it.
