If you're doing the included update, no key is needed. It's like one big update, not an OS change.

I think I realized why the Technical Preview had that typing history thing. Edge autocorrects very well now, while previous browsers just took what you typed as it is. I think they were just getting data to make a working autocorrect.

in which case i guess it must just use the same key, unless it generates a new one under wraps and never tells you about it, which would be dumb af

I didn't have to touch a key. It was just a really awesome update.

honestly windows 10 looks the same as windows 8 and 8.1 to me

people are just saying it's good because it's different and not 8/8.1

but that's just what I see in it, whatevs

Gonna try this again, but this time with help.

Yes! I got it to the desktop, it is doing very weird things, so I am waiting for a bit...

if you dont want keystrokes sent use on-screen keyboard
unless microsoft programmed that to send info too

You guys got all these problems.

Back in my day windows 10 broke every 5 minutes and the start menu kept crashing.

except it's faster and is up to date

So is there a reason I am getting such high CPU usage now that I have Win10 downloaded?

I return from my quest to install Windows 10 to report that, aside from a graphics driver issue that was fixed by reinstalling it, everything carried over perfectly and I have had no problems that weren't fixed by a quick restart.

Surely this is my reward for waiting 4 hours for it to download

all your files are being compressed for sending to microsoft, make sure there aren't any black vans outside your house else you might get sent to quantamo bae,.,...
