It's not just a jump, it's more of a swing.

Perhaps you were thinking of a grappling hook?

Ok I'll edit solar's. W8 did you fix the Invisible chain glitch?

It's not a glitch, there just isn't any visible chain coded in. At all.

EDIT: Chain added. It's not the best chain ever, but it works and provides a visible rope from which you are swinging. It's a particle.

Realy qwerty is. If he can have more access to blockland, i think he can change it.

If qwerty really is good, he can deal with the retail's limited exposed code. Space Guy, Trader, Kaje, Ephialtes plus others have all created some very useful add-ons. Their mods demonstrate how to make weapons, create bricks via script, create vehicles, and more. I even created the auto jet add-on which is completely client side. You don't need the retail's source to make great add-ons. Eph is restructuring a whole lot of the game just for his rpg server, it's not impossible to change core parts of the game. If qwerty is really good, he shouldn't release unpolished mods, no offense to him as I doubt any beginner can code the ninja rope. I personally see the retail as keeping to a higher standard, it's the reason the add-ons system is being reorganized. In RTB 1.045, you can see that we were pretty unorganized, and sloppy in our code, heck just look at my bot gui. When you see RTB 2.0, you'll see a big difference in code structure as the rtb staff has gotten a lot more organized. If you want people to think you're really good at modding, polish your add-ons before releasing them, it sometimes doesn't even matter how great the feature might be if your add-on is glitchy or unorganized.

tryed this, its ok but it needs moar grey chain

Done

Do you have control now?

Hrm, not too bad, but you slip a lot and don't really stay suspended.

I already made a grappling hook a while ago, but I never learned how to make states work with it.

Do you have control now?

I don't think that would actually be possible to do in script, since you can't get the directions the player is trying to move in.

Unless you've got client-side code, anyway.
