What is "Quest to Save Kompressor"?
A forum adventure involving saving Kompressor, of course. QSK will also be used for testing some mechanics such as skills, health, armor, and weapon damage. This will be text-based with the occasional image thrown in most of the time.



Prologue: Badspot

"Are we ready to film now? We now have what we need for leverage."
"Cameras are ready. Preparing to hijack the broadcasts in 3...2...1..."



August 2013. The anniversary of the "Shadows and Shaders" update. Badspot watches the television at a party moments before being rudely interrupted.


"This is a message to Badspot! We have waited an entire year for the return of terrain! It is now the anniversary of the Version 21 update and nothing has happened! We have decided to take further action."
"All we want is the return of our beloved Bedroom! Is that so much to ask?"
"Apparently it is too much to ask for! Kompressor will die right here, and so will you, Badspot!"



Badspot attempts to deactivate the ID's of the hostage takers, only to find out that it doesn't work.

"What the...?"



While Badspot ponders what to do next, a thunderstorm rolls in. A Blockhead armed with the Mini-Nuke approaches and fires!




Badspot survives the nuking with massive injuries and goes flying until he smacks right into Afghanistan. Badspot struggles to stand back up and is confronted by two more terrorists!

Quick explanation for the stats here: Running out of health obviously kills you, running out of stamina knocks you out, and running out of Mental Health is like going insane, having your mind fried, being brainwashed,or panicking depending on the attack. Skills affect damage or effect(Musical instruments), accuracy(most weapons), or how likely something is to succeed(speech, dodge, etc)

Badspot lunges at Terrorist 1 and attempts to snatch his gun!
Badspot and Terrorist 1 struggle for the gun!
Terrorist 2 MISTAKENLY shoots Terrorist 1, hitting the torso for 3 DMG!
Badspot snatches the Default Gun from Terrorist 1 and fires it into his head at point blank range for a critical 6 DMG!
Terrorist 1 speaks these final words: "I died a martyr for the Bedroom!"
Terrorist 2 fires the Default Gun at Badspot!
Badspot dives out of the way and fires the Default Gun at Terrorist 2, hitting the torso for 2 DMG!
Terrorist 2 screams in agony and is unable to attack.
Badspot fires the Default Gun at Terrorist 2, hitting the head and for a critical 4 DMG!
Terrorist 2 defiantly flips off Badspot before collapsing to the floor!

Badspot loots 5 bullets from the corpses and heads down the stairs of the building he's in. As soon as he gets to the ground floor, the rest of the terrorists confront him! Badspot sees a tank's cannon and several powerful weapons pointed his way. In his weakened state, Badspot is no match for his assailants!

Now might be a good time to run. But how?

Revoke the terrorists, put them on auto-revoke, revoke on sight, and stop selling keys for a bit.

Badspot tries to revoke the terrorists only to discover that his powers don't work anymore!

(It was kind already established that Badspot's powers don't work.)

Badspot runs back into the tall blue building he was just in and goes up the stairs!
Tank fires the Tank Cannon into the building, blowing bits of it apart!

Badspot finishes running to the roof and jumps off, landing in a dumpster out of sight and taking some slight damage from landing on broken glass!



"Keep searching! He can't hide forever!" A voice barks. Badspot listens closely while in the dumpster and hears the terrorists running past his hiding spot. It worked! Badspot exits the dumpster and runs smack into a Blockhead dressed as a chef.

"Jesus! What happened to you? I can heal you if you want...."



After getting healed, Badspot continues fleeing until he runs into a building with a bunch of other Blockheads taking refuge.

"What the hell is going on?"

"They're here for you!" A Blockhead whispers. "That's all I know!"

*THUMP*

"Oh god, what was that noise?" Someone else whispers. "We're no fighters! Take these guns!"



Badspot investigates the noise and discovers two terrorists discarding their parachutes.

"Only one way to find out. We're all over Afgan, there's no way Badspot can run." One of them says, continuing a conversation you never heard the beginning of.

"Freeze." Badspot orders.

Terrorist 7 obediently drops his gun and puts up his hands. "Damn!" He says. You now have the Terrorists at your mercy.

Badspot fills the terrorists full of lead and loot the bodies. The armor is too damaged to loot, though. Badspot continues fleeing until he's almost out of Afgan. One final encounter awaits him!

(The Prologue is a sort-of "taste of power" where you get to see weapons that are usually reserved for later in the game, which explains the massive difference in weapon damages you see.)

Use the flamer on those terrorist scum.

Is it me, or has this been an extremely awkward first few posts so far?

Badspot goes to town on the terrorists with the flamer and streams fire everywhere!
Terrorist 13 is horribly burned!
Terrorist 12 runs off screaming!
Terrorist 11 soils himself, screams for mama, and flees!
Terrorist 10 panics and throws his Holy Hand Grenade in a random direction, blowing up a unfortunate bystander!
Terrorist 9 dodges the flames and fires the Ion Cloud Thrower at Badspot, setting HIM on fire too!

Badspot runs around on fire in a panic!
Terrorist 13 accidentally fires the ACNRHKLAHBSLFGSG(L) at the ground, causing HUNDREDS of Frag Grenades to spill out and explode!
Badspot is hit for 83 damage and collapses to the floor unconscious!
Terrorist 10 is hit for 99 damage and killed!
Terrorist 13 is hit for 64 damage and killed.

Prologue End.

This entire prologue was awkwardly executed, honestly. I forgeted this up bad. I'll get to the real adventure after some dinner and hopefully it won't be a clusterforget. Probably too late though, since the first page is when the variety of people posting is the largest. After that, its only the same 3 or 4 guys posting.
