There's clear functional reasoning for him to be kicked out as the only left-hander in the club, even if it's sissy reasoning.
And more than that, it's a membership. That means he was under an agreement that he signed upon joining, which without a doubt included "you may dismissed at any time for any reason with or without warning," or something to that effect. Much like this forum.
