I don't know about this ending but if your thinking about one with a bad ending it might be thinking of Hatred.

no the ending is pretty boring, you just escape the city via helicopter and that's pretty much it.

i won't spoil who takes you out or where you are taken from but it's nothing special.

I was stuck in one point in Assassin's Creed: Black Flag because I needed to be connected to uplay but the servers were out for a week or two, so it wasn't even my fault.

It's okay, very atmospheric (Although they seem to have messed that up a bit on this re release by making it brighter and removing the grime filter)
