if you have a computer and internet access, programming is not out of reach. the only thing that's actually stopping you is you

Getting my masters in criminology. Never has taking classes been so fun. Going around campus in riot uniforms and infiltrating unsuspecting classes is a blast.

No pun intended.

he's been asking questions in coding help and you've been helping him
i personally am not surprised

cyber security, but no one asked about pore ole loognats
blocknet is straight up experience - it's the same route ephi went with rtb

i'm considering doubling up and getting networking solutions + cyber security here at the same time

networking solutions
what is this precisely

sounds like a specific certification or something

i've heard "solutions" being used by professors and it mentions "technology" in our course catalog so idk

i want to be a game designer
by game designer i mean coder, i can't do art for stuff
but i'm 15 and that's a long way off so i don't really have a clue

edit: looking at the thread i realize that a lot of people are a lot older than i thought they were

i just want to make a living distributing digital content

be it cartoons, voice acting, graphics design, motion design, any other form of digital imagery......

its really been my forte these past 8yrs

I have a Graphic Design degree that I'm putting aside to go for a Game Design degree. I figure that I enjoy the 3D aspect of modeling so much I should merge the graphic and 3d design sides together to work toward becoming a game designer. I start my new college this winter.

Currently I'm leaving my minimum wage maintenance management job in favor of moving out to my new college. I plan to never go back to retail.

From here I need to focus on expanding my portfolio which is already 8 years thick.

Basically, CNIT programs (what he's talking about) are to CS as MET (mechanical engineering technology) is to ME.

Charles Sturt offer a comp science degree which allows you to specialise into game programming which would probably be a smarter idea considering how tough the game dev scene is here in aus

So many people here wanting to code and design games lol
