Australia attempts to calm down the rioters by legalizing recreational drugs
... Switzerland says this isn't why they are mad.

Switzerland shall host an Earth Convention, in Bern, that dedicates safety and protection to the Mother. This convention will include:
Propositions for a nuclear test bans in open atmosphere, in water, and in high atmosphere. Radiation isn't really good, we think.
Introduction of a research pact on various man made material's effects on nature.
All open input for stuff like that.

Switzerland would like to purchase jet engines for probable armed neutrality purposes, however mumbling intent is focused on possible non-conventional uses.

China disagrees. Nuclear weapons have barely been tested. We must continue, for the benefit of man and society.

Or the US can. We guess.

also yeah thats pretty much blatant meta'ing

the US suggests that the allied occupation zones of germany are unified to create the federal republic of germany, and that the FRG will have limited autonomy while things are smoothed out

Sweden creates a single prototype jet fighter using the jet engines Britain has provided.

Although sadly for Sweden, the test flights for the single prototype failed midway during the flight as the jet fighter stopped properly working and began losing altitude quickly, leading to the unfortunate demise of the pilot alongside with the destruction of the jet fighter.

Engineers are trying to figure out what caused this and expect that they will be able to come up with a fixed version of the jet fighter in 1948.
