The Greek Civil War begins after communist separatists began attacking several Greek police officers in a region with little formal government control, as well as lost contact with trade moving near the northern border. While the USSR has chosen not to involve itself (as per a treaty between itself and Great Britain), some of its underlings, Yugoslavia, Albania, and Bulgaria, have begun funding the separatists.

As per the United Nations vote, Israel and Palestine are made into independent states. Tens of thousands of European Jews move to Israel seeking a better place to freely practice their religion and live among others who do so, right in there holy land of all places.
