i dont know if it would work, but it sure as hell would boost my sales.

Lets try it! *brings propane*

It would be less effective than gas but would still work

It'd work. Someone probably has a propane car already

but propane needs pressure to stay liquid
a gas tank isnt pressurized

next question: if a car used jet fuel for fuel, would it work?

On a related note, many modern medium duty vehicles such as buses and garbage trucks run on liquefied or compressed natural gas.

but propane needs pressure to stay liquid

Converted vehicles typically have a separate pressurized tank alongside the original gasoline or diesel tank.

The steel beams would melt, so no

the car would collapse on itself

The steel beams would melt, so no
but jet fuel can't melt steel beams

next question: if a car used jet fuel for fuel, would it work?
A normal car no because the engine isn't capable of combusting the kerosene
