Even if you do Pacifist on your first run, the game forces you to play the neutral ending. However, it also means you can reload the save immediately after finishing the neutral ending and then go finish as Pacifist.
Alright, so this means I have to face him first right?

Face who first?

Whatever the case, if it's your first run, just wing it. There's no wrong way to play the game, no matter what you do, but the less information you go in with, the better.

Because the protagonist who's name is a fairly major spoiler is eternally -_- at every situation.
how is the name a spoiler? I have seen so many other spoilers. which people have posted in this thread like it was nothing. and I can't see any way that the protag's name could tie into any of that

some people think the name of the main character is a spoiler because when you name yourself at the beginning of the game you're actually naming the first human and not frisk, which is set up to be a surprise

I'm probably sure you see them in the Core.

Speaking of monsters not showing up, the one Froggit that explains skipping text wasn't in the room with the other two tip frogs

Before even reaching that room, i've been using the skip button to speed up text, but i have accidentally skipped some text here and there

Did i scare the Froggit away with my sinning?

Yes, that one disappears as soon as you skip some text.

I saw him my first playthrough, but I started skipping text the second one (obvi), and he was RIP.
