kind of dumb to baby people
like dude it's just a game
it's not like it's gonna ruin your life if you heard that x character does y later in the story

go ahead and stuff on my if you think otherwise, but it's just my opinion

yeah, but it's still really rude

imo, i like not having games spoiled for myself

jeez it's like going to a book club where everybody else has already finished it and you haven't and then getting offended when they discuss the story
edited bold for clarity
you realize how selfish this sounds, right? your logic makes sense, but you're literally stating: "i've played the game, so therefore, it shouldn't matter if anyone else has, it was their choice to spoil it for themselves"
refer to bold
the game is extremely linear and there's only like 3 paths you can take
and 2 are locked when you don't meet the requirements early in the game
kill 1 creature? stuck with either neutral or genocide
spare 1 creature? whoops look there goes the genocide route
do both? i have no strong feelings one way or the other

It's reasonable that a topic would most likely contain spoilers, however with situations like "Should I buy this game" or "I need help with ____" still echoing about, I think it is reasonable to, at the very least, keep spoilers on the low until there is a notable space of time between its release. It has been more than a month since its release, sure, but with the game getting even more widespread it's only fair. However I suppose I am a hypocrite as well as I have been trying to evade peeking into the Metal Gear Solid V topic in fear of spoilers. I haven't really looked in that topic all too much per say, but I think this topic has been doing well enough to hide spoilers.

No, people go to a book club specifically because they've completed the book, that is not the case in forum threads

Just because you were comfortable looking up the super final boss and using it as your avatar before even playing the game doesn't mean everyone is like you

i understand what you guys are saying but i just don't agree with it
also people go to a book club because they've joined the book club
if they're a member and didn't finish the book, they may or may not go to the discussion
also i didn't look up the thing, i went through the wiki for like 3 pages (whop gess wat super duper spoilers ahead you'll die if you read this) (sans > toriel > asriel) and thought he looked cool

you're kidding me right

i understand what you guys are saying but i just don't agree with it

That's fine, but you should still respect the wishes of people who want to pop in pre-game, mid-game, or between endings

The surprises are a big part of what makes the game great and ruining them for someone is a big hit on the quality of that person's experience
